Planning & Zoning Meetings and Hearings:

The Branford Planning and Zoning Commission holds regularly scheduled meetings on the first and third Thursday of each month except when official holidays or exigent circumstances require the meeting dates be changed.

A proposed agenda, including time and place, for each regular meeting is posted online when information becomes available. By state statute, agendas are subject to revision until 24 hours prior to each meeting; we encourage members of the public to check the online agenda on the day of each meeting, for the latest information.

The Commission holds public hearings as needed. Advance notice of each public hearing — including time, place, and items scheduled for discussion — is posted online and published in the local press.

Zoning Board of Appeals Hearings:

The Zoning Board of Appeals holds hearings as needed. Announcements of upcoming hearings are posted as information becomes available.
